Violence, puns, and homing missiles. Total Recoil has it all

Eiconic Games, the developer behind PulzAR for PS Vita, has released some screenshots of their upcoming, pun-tastic arcade shooter, Total Recoil. Funded by the Vision+ scheme, the game is set for a Q4 release on iOS devices.

With a 2.5D view, impressive looking graphics, and a motto that involves shooting everything that moves and everything that doesn't, Total Recoil looks set to bring some arcade mayhem to the App Store.

You can expect customisable kill streaks, heavy weapons like the rocket launcher and the mini gun that are fully upgradeable through in-app purchases, and plenty of pretty explosions too.
