The Wanderer: Frankenstein's Creature is a beautiful looking point and click adventure game that'll be available for iOS and Android in November

The Wanderer: Frankenstein's Creature is a point and click adventure game where you play as the titular creature. It won't be the horror game you might be expecting though as the developers instead say it will be an emotional adventure. It will be available for iOS and Android soon with a Switch version planned for next year.

In The Wanderer: Frankenstein's Creature you'll play as the creature right at the beginning of its life players will embark on a journey to learn about its origins and to learn about humanity. The creature isn't born evil or good so it seems that your choices could potentially determine what it becomes.

This theory is based on a particular mechanic the game will feature. Throughout The Wanderer, you'll make a number of decisions and the landscape and soundtrack will change accordingly. They can change from light to dark, becoming a far moodier looking game. This doesn't necessarily have to relate to good and evil choices, of course, that's just my guess.

As you can see from the trailer above it's going to be a stunning looking game. It's designed to look like a watercolour painting and it's undeniably lovely to look at. Even in the darker looking images it still has a gloomy beauty to it. The levels themselves will be presented as different paintings with 18 of them to explore throughout the game.

While I'm not usually a big fan of point and click adventure style games, this one is really appealing to me. I'm a sucker for a gorgeous visual style and I like the idea of a different take on a well-known character. Seeing Frankenstein's Creature in a new light is a very novel idea that I'm into.

The Wanderer: Frankenstein's Creature will be available for iOS and Android soon whilst a Switch version is slated for an early 2020 release.
