The Light Inside Us is an upcoming strategic shooter set in an abstract world, coming to iOS next month.

In The Light Inside Us, you guide a small cube through stages filled with hordes of dangerous enemies. Different tiles through each stage grant you unique weapons, like the green spread shot and the yellow area-of-effect mortal strike.

However, your projectiles also double as your health, so you'll need to strategically decide which weapons to equip or if a powerful weapon is worth the risk of reduced health.

Since our last coverage of the game, The Light Inside Us was overhauled with a new visual style and narrative. A varied array of new mechanics were also added, from projectile-bending gravity wells to weapons like the ricocheting shot.

The Light Inside Us will cost £2.29 / $2.99 when it releases for iPad and iPhone on January 14th.
