E3 2011: Link's Awakening available today in 3DS eShop, Four Swords coming for free later this year

At the Nintendo E3 conference, Nintendo revealed that the original Game Boy Colour version of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening will be available via the Nintendo eShop later today.

The eShop only launched this morning, but the classic Zelda title we've been screaming out for since the reveal of the downloadable store is already preparing to land.

Even more excitingly, Miyamoto revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords will be made available as a free download for both 3DS and DSi gamers.

The multiplayer title, available originally for GameCube, will appear on both the eShop and the DSiWare store in September.
