The Legend of Tianding features fast-paced action across a Chinese manga-inspired side-scroller, now open for pre-order on iOS

Neon Doctrine has officially announced that their fast-paced side-scrolling adventure The Legend of Tianding is now open for pre-order on the iOS App Store. Players can expect to immerse themselves in an action-packed tale as they step into the shoes of legendary vigilante Liao Tianding across the streets of Taipei.

In The Legend of Tianding, players can look forward to diving into a visually stunning iteration of early 20th-century Taipei, as they pull one over the rich and mighty to help the poor and balance the scales of justice. The game features gorgeous art styles reminiscent of ink paintings and comic book-esque scenes, all embellished with breathtaking kung-fu action during high-stakes combat.

Battles are a unique affair on their own, as players get to perform sick aerial combos and take advantage of talismans to zip around the field and take corrupt oppressors down. The traditional Chinese manga vibes of the game depict situations and people based on real life as set in the Dadaocheng area of Taipei.

The title boasts a “Best Narration” award at the 2022 Taipei Game Show as well, along with a win as the “Best Game Design” at the Valencia Indie Summit 2022 under its belt.

If you're keen on getting first dibs on the game as soon as it's launched on March 2nd, you can now pre-order The Legend of Tianding on the iOS App Store. It's a premium title that costs $6.99 a pop or your local equivalent.
