The Godfather: City Wars, is an idle city builder based on the hit franchise, out now on mobile

Ever wanted to know what it’s like to be a Godfather? PlaySide Studios took it upon themselves to give players this experience, in some way at least, with its latest title The Godfather: City Wars now available for iOS and Android globally.

The Godfather: City Wars is an idle city builder and battler that puts players in the Corleone family as they expand their criminal empire all through New York and Las Vegas. The game is being built in collaboration with Paramount Pictures who have officially licensed the story, ensuring that players get to experience the original script from the acclaimed movie as they build the empire and come across lots of iconic characters and locations.

Speaking about what it was like working on one of the most beloved franchises of all time, Gerry Sakkas, CEO of PlaySide Studios, said: “Adapting The Godfather to mobile devices was not something we took lightly, so our team set about researching the book and film in order to create something that felt authentic. We wanted to put players in the handcrafted Italian shoes of a member of the Corleone family as they are called upon by Don Corleone himself to expand the family’s empire and take its turf wars to the next level.”

While the game may be an idle city builder, it offers all the action of the Godfather world – turf wars, a family mansion that can be upgraded, rival families that must be taken down, and a lot more. Income is generated idly through Capos, but it will take some wits to actually create an untouchable empire.

So, here’s an offer you can’t refuse – Download The Godfather: City Wars on your Android or iOS for free by clicking on either of the links below.
