BUCK expands the award-winning animation studio with new game dev branch alongside The Electric State: Kid Cosmo launch
Expect more jaw-dropping animation to come

- Award-winning studio behind Secret Level and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
- Portfolio includes Let’s! Revolution!
- BUCK Games launches alongside Netflix's The Electric State: Kid Cosmo
If, like me, the animation from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse made your jaw drop and made you question what you've been doing with your life while animators like BUCK churn out home run after home run (especially with Love, Death + Robots and Secret Level), you'll be happy to know that the award-winning animation and design company is now debuting its game dev branch.
Yes, the new BUCK Games branch has been officially announced alongside the launch of Netflix Games' The Electric State: Kid Cosmo, which is a bit of a game within a game that ties in with the film.
This isn't BUCK's first foray into this industry, however, as its previous launch was a vibrant roguelite puzzler called Let’s! Revolution!. The studio boasts over two decades of experience under its belt when it comes to animation and design, with clients such as Apple, Riot Games, and Microsoft.

With that kind of portfolio, I think it's safe to say its future releases under its newly formed BUCK Games branch will sport the same - if not better - quality on mobile.
“Developing a game connected to a larger world was a new challenge, and demanded adaptability and ingenuity from our team,” says Michael Highland, Creative Director of BUCK Games. “We set out with an ambitious, unconventional vision, and our partners pushed us to make it the best version possible.”
