Art of Fauna comes to Apple Arcade as Art of Fauna: Cozy Puzzles+

One puzzler that we've been happy to highlight in the past is Art of Fauna. Using real-world natural history art drawn from the 18th and 19th centuries, it offers a genuinely relaxing, intriguing and often educational take on the genre. And now, players on Apple Arcade will also be able to experience it!

That's because Art of Fauna is also set to make its way to iOS via Apple Arcade as Art of Fauna: Cozy Puzzles+. In Art of Fauna, you can either reassemble individual pictures in classic tile-sliding fashion, or flip the puzzle round and instead solve a complex word puzzle that offers fascinating tidbits about the animals shown.

Unfortunately, we don't have an Android release on the horizon, but the decision to bring Art of Fauna to Apple Arcade is still an excellent one. By mixing both puzzle gameplay and genuinely educational content, I think that you'll find it to be an engaging and fulfilling puzzler to play.

Of course, if I were a cynic, I'd also point out the silliness of having to label it as 'cozy puzzles' since it should already be pretty obvious that this isn't some high-octane thrill ride. But whatever gets somebody to give it a go, I suppose.

You can find Art of Fauna on the iOS App Store now, with the upcoming Apple Arcade release arriving September 3rd. With over 300 puzzles to solve, featuring art from the likes of Elizabeth Gould and Joseph Wolf, even if you have little interest in the natural world, I'm sure you'll find something to enjoy in Art of Fauna.
