Indie PC smash Terraria will be hitting the UK and US App Stores at midnight tonight, meaning fans of side-scrolling 16-bit worlds can finally get their hands on the crafty crafting classic.
You play through a randomly generated world in Terraria, hacking down trees and digging up other elements to craft into weapons and armour in your quest to stay alive for as long as possible.
There are more than a hundred enemies for you to kill, giant boss battles in which to engage, and sumptuous worlds to explore.
And if you're playing on the toughest difficulty setting, there's the ever-present possibility of permadeath.
There are leaderboards, achievements, and Facebook integration so you can annoy all of your friends by letting them know how far into the game you are.
Terraria will go live on the UK and US App Stores tonight. We'll let you know as soon as we find out how much this intriguing adventure is going to set you back.
