Tap Tap Revenge to go premium with Nine Inch Nails
You'll want to tap your iPhone like an animal...
Music game Tap Tap Revenge has been one of the huge hits on the App Store so far, racking up nearly two million downloads.
However, by necessity the vast majority of the music available for it has been by unsigned artists. That could be changing though, as developer Tapulous looks to strike deals with the music industry.
The first fruits of that policy have just been announced: Tapulous will release a premium edition of Tap Tap Revenge next month, themed around Nine Inch Nails.
The game, which will be a paid rather than free download, will feature more than 12 of the band's songs, taken from their last two albums (sorry folks, that means none of the older hits).
What's more, Tapulous says it'll sign more deals with other artists in the coming months. It's a great idea, and one that looks set to take Tap Tap Revenge to an even wider audience of iPhone users.
