From epic debuffers who immobilise foes to DPS powerhouses that carry your entire team, our Taimanin Squad tier list should help you shape up your lineup like a pro.
If your goal is to pick the best characters in Taimanin Squad, I can get behind that. A good character can make a huge difference in this RPG when it comes to defeating bosses and progressing through the tougher stages. And even though every character has its own strengths, some clearly perform better.
Some of them even have neat little synergies (or Bonds) with others, which activate an additional Bond Skill. To really make the most out of your team, you always need to look at the benefits of having one of these Bond Skills activated, and which characters are required for it.
Of course, I'm here to give you a hand with all that. I've played this for quite a bit, and even though I'm not that lucky in the gacha department, rerolling at the very beginning proved to be a massive help. If you're someone who also wants to have a proper head start (and not rely so much on pulling a specific character), this is the Taimanin Squad tier list for you.
Taimanin Squad reroll guide
First things first - I'll give you a brief how-to when it comes to rerolling, since you don't need to delete your account or use salted accounts. The first 10-pull gacha can be reset as many times as you like, and there is no set number of 5-star characters you can pull.Oh, and by the way, we've got a list of Taimanin Squad codes you can claim for extra resources, too!
Now, if you really want to dedicate some time to TS, then you should reroll your pulls until you get 3 or 4 5-star characters. That is doable, but the chances are REALLY low. If you don't have that kind of patience, then sticking to 2 5-star characters is more than enough.
Taimanin Squad tier list
I listed the best characters from S tier to C tier based on their overall performance in PvE content and reliability in different team comps.I only ranked the 5-star characters, since there was no point adding the filler characters. Those would eventually get swapped out anyway.

Kamimura Maika is THE AoE damage dealer. She deals increased damage to lower health enemies, and on top of everything, she can also apply Burn to them. As I mentioned, she is a must-have in your pulls, since her AoE clear is top-tier.
Nanase Mai, I believe, is one of the best supports at the moment. She can be a menace to deal with, since her Paper Spirit: Attack can disable the enemy's Passive and Active. She can also heal allies and shield them, which is good regardless of content.

Fuuma Tokiko is a support who can immobilise an enemy. She can also reduce the cooldown of allies and buff their ATK, which means she can have good synergy with Igawa Asagi.
Igawa Asagi is a proper DPS with some debuffs in her kit. She is able to buff her own ATK, which can be crucial when paired with other characters that buff that. Her passive Almighty Taimanin makes her insanely useful by filling her turn gauge whenever she gets a buff.
B tier

In the B rank for this Taimanin Squad tier list, I ranked all the characters that are decent, but are still kinda average when compared to the ones above them. Take, for instance, Oboro, who is able to buff ACC and inflict Bleed. There is a better character for bleeding, and ACC is not a stat that is as important in the early to mid game.
Then, we have Fuuma Saika, who is a dedicated debuffer. She can also remove all the debuffs on herself, while with Blazing Kick, she can increase the duration of a random debuff on an enemy. She is more of a utility character than a DPS.
C tier

- Onisaki Kirara
These C-tier characters are not that noteworthy - if you manage to max them, they could be good, but until then, they're just average (in comparison to other 5-stars). Of course, when compared to the rest of the available characters, they are still in a tier of their own.
