UK-based developer Devil's Details has used Sony's European PlayStation Blog to show-off new augmented reality title Table Top Tanks, which is scheduled to launch on the PS Vita on May 23rd for €1.99.

This action title charges you with piloting a tank through an explosion-filled single-player campaign that's packed with armoured foes and plenty of pick-ups. These allow you to upgrade your weapons and utilise new shell types, such as bouncing missiles.

Furthermore, you can quickly and easily create your very own maps by placing virtual shapes around real-world objects, and filling them with water, smoke, or fire so that they react accordingly to stray gunfire. These levels can, of course, be shared with your friends.

In fact, if you don't fancy battling computer-controlled opponents, you can face off against three of your buddies in Ad Hoc matches.

Devil's Details is already working hard on a post-launch DLC pack, which will introduce the developer's take on toy tanks, giving your vehicles a distinct and bouncy shape.
