Out at midnight: Classic point and click adventure Syberia 2
Mammoth surprise
Oops, we didn't see this coming. Syberia 2 – which originally came out in 2004, and which landed on Android earlier this year – has just arrived on the New Zealand App Store, meaning it'll be available in the UK in a few hours.
The game picks up, unsurprisingly, where Syberia left off, and sees you guiding series protagonist Kate Walker around the frozen wasteland of Syberia in Russia, where mammoths still roam.
Syberia 2 is almost a teenager, so expect a touch of dated clunkiness if you download it – the kind that we identified in our review of the first game. But if you're a fan of point and click adventures and you haven't already played this genre classic then you might want to pick it up.
