Super Yum Yum 3 will be licking iPhone from Monday
You come and go. You come and go
Without getting too far into the psychological implications of playing a game about a chameleon who's hungry and can only eat food that's the same colour as him, when Super Yum Yum came out for mobile a couple of years ago, we loved it.
So the news Leon the colour-shifting chameleon and his incredibly long tongue are coming to iPhone and iPod touch in the shape of Super Yum Yum 3 fills our hearts with a little fruity burst of pleasure.
The puzzle action, of course, is all about changing colour so you can eat fruit, as well as licking your babies so they follow you. (That's why we really didn't want to get involved in the psychological implications.)
There are 36 levels spread across four themed environments: Japanese Cherry Blossom, Tree Top Village, Coral Reef Bay and Crystal Cavern. Plus we're promise 4 mini-game interludes. It all adds to 8-10 hours of estimated play time.
Developer Airplay is also cranking up the excitement with a competition that will see the the first 25 people perfectly completing the game winning a limited edition Super Yum Yum 3 mouse mat. But to claim your prize you'll need to collect every fruit and rescue every baby in the game.
Super Yum Yum 3 is due out on the App Store on the 20th April.
