Golf Super Crew is an upcoming next-gen golf simulator on mobile with colourful arcade flair
Definitely not PGA-approved

- Super Golf Crew is an arcade-style sports sim coming to iOS and Android
- Releasing later today it sees you step into the shoes of a variety of colourful golfers
- Use bizarre trickshots to pull off that elusive hole in one and more
Seems it's a bit of a month for golf, what with the debut of PGA Tour Pro Golf on Apple Arcade and now that of Super Golf Crew for Android and iOS! But what does this purported next-gen experience on mobile include? Well, let's dig in and find out!
Now, first off this is most resolutely not a realistic simulation of golf. Whether it's the bizarre trick shots you can pull off or the equally strange courses (I'm pretty sure playing on a frozen lake isn't particularly safe) and the colourfully dressed players. This arcade-style golfer focuses on real-time gameplay and the lack of turn-based waiting to sell itself.
But you will have plenty of features and modes to play with. Whether that's 1v1 Golden Clash Battles, tournaments and more. You can also customise your golfer with new outfits, accessories and gear. That and the strangely-named but no less fascinating Swing Chat that lets you send golf shots like messages.

The only thing that might put you off Super Golf Crew is, unfortunately, that now rather passe topic of web3 gaming around it. However, rather interestingly I noted that while Super Golf Crew is coming to blockchain gaming platform Wemix Play, it's also set to hit regular storefronts on Google Play and the iOS App Store. I find it even more interesting then if Super Golf Crew doesn't come with any of those elements included, and how Wemix would integrate it.
Still, I am cautiously interested in Super Golf Crew, and that says a lot considering golf is one of my least favourite sports ever. With its colorful characters, arcade-style gameplay and attempt to take the tedium out of golf I think it's worth a gander.
