Subway Surfers to team up with Miniclip's other hit 8-Ball Pool for first time

- Jump into the 8 Ball City Tour in Subway Surfers or nab themed gear in 8 Ball Pool
The older readers amongst us will remember Miniclip back in the Flash days. Nowadays, many of you will know them more for their excellent mobile releases. Specifically, good old 8 Ball Pool. But what if you combined that with another mobile hit? Well, that's just what Sybo have done as Subway Surfers teams with 8 Ball Pool!
It's not altogether surprising, considering that Sybo themselves are owned by Miniclip. But to see these two hits come together will nonetheless be interesting, I'm sure. Fans of Subway Surfers will soon be able to dash their way through the 8 Ball Pool City Tour Event, nabbing new 8 Ball-themed outfits for Jake and a themed hoverboard.
In 8 Ball Pool, meanwhile, fans can experience a new Subway Surfers-inspired event themed around the same city destinations Jake will visit. The new Subway Surfers Pool Table features distinct physics mimicking Subway Surfers.
8 Balls to the wall
Running from August 18th to September 3rd, this marks the first time the two hit releases have co-mingled. But it offers some exciting rewards, including the aforementioned skins in Subway Surfers, as well as several limited-edition quests that require you to collect letters in 8 Ball Pool. Completing it grants you several themed prizes, including a Jake avatar, Guard cue and others.Suffice it to say, then there's no surprise about this being an event you'll all be looking forward to, whether it's for nostalgia's sake or just because of the great stuff in the event!
