Gameloft announces iPhone RTS StarFront: Collision. StarCraft resemblance evident

King of the clone Gameloft has announced its latest game, StarFront: Collision, which is coming January 2011 to iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
As you might have guessed, it 'pays tribute' to a popular video game series. This time, the iPhone developer has pointed its homage handgun at Blizzard’s real-time strategy series StarCraft.
Collision is a top-down RTS which promises intuitive touch controls to give full control over your forces. There are three factions (fancy that) - The Consortium, the Myriad, and the Wardens - with unique tech trees and tactics for each.
On your own, there are 20 missions in the story-based Campaign, and plenty more hours of tactical time-wasting in Skirmish mode. If you’ve got some friends you can go online or play locally with four-player multiplayer.
The game also uses Gameloft Live 2.0 for leaderboards. StarFront: Collision will hit all iOS devices this January. Catch the trailer below.
