We've looked fondly on triangles ever since seeing James Blunt singing about them on Sesame Street (in fact, we've even looked more fondly on James Blunt since then. A bit.)

Namco Networks America clearly shares our love for tri-cornered shapes, judging by its new iPhone game Star Trigon, which went live on the App Store today.

It sees you playing the Star Trigon Team, who have to travel through space rescuing cutesy aliens - Uchujin - from drifting aimlessly about. How? By drawing triangles around them, of course.

It's all controlled by tapping planets on the screen before your air supply runs out. You have three rescue team members to choose from, plus a secret fourth character, and 79 different stages to play through.

It certainly looks quirky enough to be an iPhone hit. Fancy a go? Click the 'Buy It!' button below to grab it for your iPhone or iPod Touch.
