Late last month, Pocket Gamer's own Bulent Yusuf reviewed Metal Gear Solid-esque iPhone and iPad action-puzzler SpyCorp, awarding it a slightly below-par 6/10.

Why?

Well, to cut a long story short, we considered its in-app purchase model "flawed".

As you can see for yourself below, though, developer Wicked Games will completely remove in-app payments in the next update to SpyCorp, which is currently being poked and prodded by Apple's approval team.

Where now?

As an added bonus, the forthcoming upgrade will introduce some new mini-maps for the rather obvious purpose of reorientation.

If you don't fancy waiting for SpyCorp's new update to hit the App Store, you can grab the the puzzler right now as a Universal app for 69p / 99c.
