Let Lady Luck decide

Spin Hero puts your fate in the hands of the RNG spin gods across a roguelike deckbuilder, coming soon
  • Spin the reels to decide your path
  • Cute pixel-art visuals
  • Randomly generated events

From the makers of As Far as the Eye comes another roguelike adventure, this time in the form of Spin Hero, an upcoming deckbuilder with adorable pixel-art graphics. Goblinz Publishing's latest offering will bring procedurally generated endeavours for you to take on, where each spin will determine your fate across its charming fantasy world.

As you can probably tell from the title, Spin Hero will have you spinning the reel to know how your adventure will go, whether that's getting buffs for your weaponry or picking the best reward that you think will help you survive each new run. You can pick your hero too, and each one will have its own set of abilities to fit your playstyle.

Now, while that concept might seem ordinary given the genre, it's the spinning that gives it an interesting little twist, in my opinion, letting you adapt your strategy at the mercy of the RNG gods. And if Lady Luck is on your side, you might just breeze through your whole quest - or learn from your defeats as we all need to do.

The cute pixel art reminds me so much of Peglin for some reason, but if you're on the hunt for more randomly generated battles, why not take a look at our list of the best roguelikes and roguelites for Android?

In the meantime, if you're eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking out Spin Hero on the App Store and on Google Play. It's a premium purchase at $4.99 a pop, and is expected to launch on May 13th according to the App Store listing.
