Soulworker Anime Legends gets some new content courtesy of its latest collaboration with popular fighter series Guilty Gear

The anime online action roleplaying game Soulworker has begun a collaboration with the legendary fighting game franchise Guilty Gear, running until April 20th. This crossover brings in a new raid themed after the series alongside a bunch of new cosmetics that will allow you to dress up as all your favourite Guilty Gear characters.

Soulworker is a bit of a sleeper hit amongst mobile MMO gamers, but it’s got a lot to offer. A pretty engaging storyline mixed with super flashy and awesome action combat alongside a 3D anime art style sounds good enough, but then you add in the ability to play alongside your friends and collect tons of different loot as you level up, and you’ve got a solid game on your hands.

What I didn’t expect was to see such a game collaborate with what has become one of the biggest fighting games in the world, however. Guilty Gear was a bit of a cult hit in the genre until Strive launched a ways back, and then it became a global sensation. Now, with this event, you can have both in one go!

This collaboration is pretty massive too, coming with new playable content that is themed after Guilty Gear come April 6th, but beginning with an assortment of costumes based on Guilty Gear characters like Ky Kiske or Sol Badguy. After the April 6th update, even more costumes will be added, one for nearly every character within Strive.

Alongside all of this, there will also be new Akashic Records and Soulmates to collect, each themed after a different character from the game as well. So, in summary, there’s basically a boatload of Guilty Gear-themed content, both playable and cosmetic, that will be a treat to fans of either game.
