Once again, the snake is fighting things and even it doesn't understand how or why. And this time, instead of mere blocks, the snake is attacking colour itself.

Snake VS. Colors is simple and not, as you guide a snake around coloured obstacles, and gliding straight through others. Cheeky.

It starts off confusing, but you've got the basics, you'll be setting some really high scores. Just read on for everything you need to know…

Now in Technicolor

The rules in Snake VS. Colors are very simple - that just doesn't mean the game will be.

You play as a coloured snake, sliding your finger from left to right to navigate the snake through stages.

The main rule is avoiding anything which isn't the same colour as your snake, you can pass through anything which is the same. It sounds simple at first, but now we get onto obstacles…

Spotty dodging

One of the biggest and most annoying obstacles has to be the dots. Dots might stay stationary initially but will soon fly around the screen, forcing you to hastily avoid.

These are just one of the many types of obstacles, and what's worse is when you will actually have to purposely run into things.

Yep, flashing lines or cubes will change the colour of your snake, and sometimes these are purposely out of the way to trip you up. Avoiding them just might cost you the next stage.

Gliding through

Most of the time though, your snake will have a fairly clear, obvious path through any given section, whether it's literally a path made by dots, or with coloured blocks on either side.

It gets tricky though, when you have to pass through your colours. Certain level will have a thin strip of colour the same as your snake for you to follow, and deviating can be an instant death.

You'll need to think fast in order to guide your snake through these trickier stages.

Foresight

A good eye is key to playing this game. It also helps if you're not colourblind, like me. Oops.

But not only will you have to watch what colours are coming at you, but even the paths ahead will be split, and sometimes stacked heavily against you.

And remember, if your hurtbox gets clipped by obstacles even slightly, that's an instant game over. Watch the path ahead carefully and pick your route - and remember that last minute obstacles can be dodged, as your snake can move as fast as your finger can slide.
