Creator of the popular iPhone and iPad Flick Kick series (including my personal fave Flick Kick Football) PikPok has shot its latest sports title through the New Zealand App Store hoop.

Slam Dunk King is a free-to-play arcade basketball game in which you rack up points across three game modes - Arcade, Time Attack, and Sudden Death - by showing off over a dozen skills and scoring some sick dunks.

If you continue to find nothing but net, you'll earn coins that can be spent on new balls, courts, and power-up-boosting mascots.

Slam Dunk Contest

Game Center and OpenFeint are both supported for leaderboards and achievements.

Slam Dunk King for iPhone and iPad has already dribbled onto the New Zealand App Store, meaning UK and US ballers can grab a slice of the touchscreen action at midnight.

Can't wait that long? Check out the trailer below.
