Bingo is no longer the preserve of old lady's and nursing homes – it has become one of the most popular leisure activities of women aged 20 to 35 years old. And presumably Namco Bandai is betting on snaffling this potentially lucrative group with the release of Skill Ball Bingo for mobiles.

Taking its name from the pub amusement machines of the same name, Skill Ball Bingo puts a simple spin on traditional bingo, as the player only needs to use two buttons, accept and reject, in order to clear the numbers on their card. Rejecting or accepting a wrong ball however incurs a penalty, and it's a race against the clock to clear your card in time.

Alas the mobile version doesn't appear to award cash prizes like its bigger pub based brother. On the other hand, once you have bought the mobile version, you can enjoy its simple and addictive charms without having to feed it pound coins every couple of minutes.

Skill Ball Bingo is compatible with a wide range of handsets and is available now.
