Silent Hill: The Escape unleashed on the iPhone already
Horror/survival series claws its way onto the App Store
We only recently picked up on the iPhone instalment of Silent Hill when we were wandering blindly around Konami’s Japanese website, so we’re a bit taken aback to see it’s already available on the App Store.
Taking place in the thrice-damned town of Silent Hill, The Escape sounds to be something of an action shooter as you attempt to make… well, your escape by torchlight and gunfire. The Escape uses a combination of touchscreen and accelerometer controls to face off against the faceless demons of Silent Hill.
Hopefully this means we’ll be seeing Konami’s other iPhone games soon, including Frogger, though we had our wrists slapped after also picking up on DanceDance Revolution S Lite on the Japanese website, as apparently it’s not been announced for European release yet.
