Retro City Rampage's sequel Shakedown Hawaii is still alive, new footage emerges
Less retro, more rampage

We loved Retro City Rampage, awarding it with our gold award and calling it a game that "pummels you with fantastic video game and movie references throughout, and has the gameplay to back up the funny".
So naturally, when a follow up was announced, we were all looking forward to it. Expanding the open world concept of a lo-fi GTA and moving it into the 16-bits era, Shakedown Hawaii was teased but we never got a proper look at it.
Late last week though, they released another teaser trailer that showcases a bit more of the game's adorable art style. It still looks like a blast to play with destructible environments, crazy car chases and more:

It's going to come out on 3DS and PS Vita but we don't have a date yet.
