SealM on Cross beginner's guide
If you've never played an MMORPG or even an RPG before, you'll probably quickly get a little lost. The UI is full of icons, and you'll be asked at the very beginning to choose your job, summon pets, and so on. It can be overwhelming. To help you out, we've created a SealM on Cross beginner's guide, where you'll find some tips and tricks to keep in mind if you want to enjoy a strong start!
1
Tip #1: Choose your class wisely
There are seven classes in this MMO, and all of them have their specific stats, skill sets, and benefits. It's important to choose your first class (you'll be able to change it upon reaching level 10) depending on how you want to play. The classes are Warrior, Knight, Jester, Mage, Cleric, Gourmet, and Hunter.
All of them are fairly classic, even if their names sometimes suggest otherwise. The Warrior wields a sword, the Knight specialises in defence, the Jester is an assassin, the Mage casts spells from afar, the Cleric has healing abilities, the Gourmet uses debuffs, and the Hunter is a type of archer.
Since you can change later on, don't hesitate to try out different classes to see which one is the best suited for you. You can also create different characters before starting, which means you have even more flexibility.

Tip #2: Customise your character
Once your class is set, you still have some work to do! As said previously, each class comes with skills and gear. And since you'll gather a lot of loot, you'll constantly need to customise your character. Aside from the gear, which can be auto-equipped if that's your wish, you'll have to craft, equip, and upgrade your own skills.
Combos have a huge impact during combat, so don't forget to regularly check their menus to see if you can unlock and upgrade new ones. You can also choose where your stats points go (Strength, Focus, and HP.) and modify your appearance with different clothes and accessories.

Tip #3: Take care of your pets
As said before, pets are an important feature, which is why we're reiterating them in our SealM on Cross beginner's guide. You'll quickly summon creatures, and they're not here just for show or cuteness: they actually help you during combat. They mainly offer support, like increased physical defence or more mana, so it's always interesting to give them level-up material.
When they're not fighting alongside your character, they also help during exploration. Some of them have specific abilities that uncover secrets or traps. And beyond their practical use, it's always nice to have companions to travel with you!

Tip #4: Follow the main quest first
This may seem like a basic tip, but it's often forgotten by advanced players who immediately seek total freedom. You need to focus on the main quest first for various reasons. First, it serves as a tutorial, explaining all the basics of the gameplay. These quests help you better understand the world and the characters, and their rewards are really useful.
During the first main quests, you'll fight a lot of monsters, meaning you'll level up quickly, and you'll unlock new features. So if you want to unlock content such as guilds or fishing, you know what to do.

Tip #5: Don't hesitate to use auto mode to farm
Combat in MMOs is fun, but it can feel repetitive after quite some time, especially when you need to kill a certain number of monsters. In these cases, don't hesitate to rely on auto mode. Your character will then be controlled by the AI, and it will farm for you.
Of course, keep an eye on it since it won't always make the right decisions. If you have to raid a boss, for example, you should play by yourself. But if you just want to level up and loot quickly, auto mode is your go-to.

Tip #6: Complete your missions and grab your rewards
Remember when I said before that the UI is full of icons? Well, some of them need to be checked daily since they unlock a huge amount of rewards. Honestly, they seem endless at first: 7-day login, 4-week login, playtime events, and mail. Even if you don't have time to play during your day, you should at least log in once to grab your rewards.
Finally, there are missions to take care of. They can be daily and weekly, and can be completed while playing normally: achieve a combo 100 times, use 100 mana potions, clear dungeons 3 times, obtain a pet 5 times... just keep at it, and you'll complete them in no time!
