Teknopants's Samurai Gunn was one of the games that caused our heads to turn last week when Sony announced a bunch of upcoming games for the PS Vita.

Well, the creator of this fast-paced multiplayer bushido brawler is now making (lots of) other people's heads ROLL in a new gameplay trailer for Samurai Gunn.

In this promo video, Teknopants depicts two samurai facing off either side of an open stretch of land, waiting for the sun to set. Once it does so, a quick fight ensues. Swords clash, and blood drops onto the dry ground.

In Samurai Gunn, up to four players are given a katana and a gun with which to battle one another. A slice from the sword is deadly, while it takes three bullets to down an opponent.

It's safer to keep your distance and take pot shots with the gun. Those with quick reflexes, though, will deflect bullets with the sword.

That means the surest way of getting a kill is to head into a clash of the swords, which always ends in a bloody mess.

Samurai Gunn is heading to PC initially, but will be available on PS4 and Vita in 2014.
