Those of you that listen to our podcast may recall our recent discussion concerning RollerCoaster Tycoon's superiority to Theme Park.

Perhaps Atari was listening, too, for it's just announced that RollerCoaster Tycoon is to be released for Nintendo's 3DS.

This new take on the old simulation classic will include full 3D graphics, which is the one thing that our seven-year-old selves would have suggested back in the day to improve it.

RollerCoaster Tycoon on 3DS will deliver a variety of brand-new elements to the franchise, including new design options and new pre-built rides for your amusement park.

The game is being developed by n-Space - the same people behind the Call of Duty games for mobile - published by Atari, and is due for release sometime in March 2012.
