Hexage blends strategy, action, and RPG for freemium title Robotek - out now on Android Market

Having teased us with five attractive screenshots last week, premium Android developer Hexage has now launched its latest title, Robotek, on the unsuspecting Android Market.
Robotek is a little different from the team's normal output, as it marks the first time the acclaimed studio has dabbled in the freemium side of gaming.
Robotek centres on taking back the planet from the evil robot hoards by using, what appears to be, other robots (friendly robots, I guess).
There are over 200 levels to fight in, 9 upgrade slots for your fighters, a hotseat two-player mode, and a ton of social features like Facebook link up and online leaderboards.
The game’s striking art style and cool electronic soundtrack from Kubarto can be seen and heard in the launch video below.
Robotek is available now from the Android Market for free (link), and we’ll be reviewing it soon.
