[Update] Brutal multiplayer roguelike Risk of Rain is out now on PSVita
Brighten up the day
It's a good day for Vita owners.
Risk of Rain has nothing to do with the weather. It's not about checking if it's safe to go outside or if you should just get your umbrella.
It's more like the game's raining ennemies on you and the only way you'll win is through a lot of pain and suffering. That's the gist of Risk of Rain, a rogue-like that came out on PC a couple of years ago and that was a lot of fun.
Meant to be played with friends, it featured tons of unlockable stuff, ensuring that each run was worth something.
So what's the level progression like? You have to find a small teleporter that will get you to the next level. But while you're getting to it or as it's charging up, plenty of enemies will try to eat you.
Eventually, you'll get to the end and you'll lose to the final boss.
That's the game in a nutshell.
But it's still tons of fun and with the added cross-platform compatibility with the PS4, you should be able to get that party filled up in no time.
Look for Risk of Rain on your PSVita later this year.
