Riptide GP 2 has finally been optimised for Metal on iOS, which means those with fancy new iPhones and iPads will be treated to enhanced graphics, real time lighting and shadows, and super-smooth frame-rates.
The iOS update also adds a new track in the classic Park Hills circuit, and the new Switchblade Hydrojet. Android players already received this content update a few weeks back.
At review, we said "Riptide GP 2 is a fun racer, but the steep difficulty curve and upgrade system can turn it into a real grind". The game's 79p / 99c on the App Store right now.
