Realms of Pixel best teams - One for each stage of the game
If you want to know what the best team in Realms of Pixel is, you're in luck; we're about to dive into a complete guide and showcase three winning team compositions.
Since there are so many heroes you can choose from, it can be quite overwhelming to think of a team composition that can perform well in both PvE and PvP, and that's what brings us here. I've taken a deep dive into each hero's kit and all the other features that play a crucial role when determining who to deploy, and the results are in! Before we take a look at some of our picks, though, let me explain a little bit how I've selected these heroes and why. Also, who should you pick if you don't have all the heroes listed below?
The best team in Realms of Pixel depends on what heroes you have
Of course, things can't always be black or white. You might be missing one or two heroes from the teams I listed on the following pages, which is why you need to learn the core of forming a good one.Basically, you want to have the following on any team you deploy:
- Tank
- DPS
- Heal/Support
The tank is needed to...tank, I guess? You don't want the enemies to attack your damage dealers or kill your healer, so a tank is mandatory regardless of team. Then, you need at least one good DPS to take down the enemies, and one healer to keep your tank (and the rest) alive. It's fairly straightforward. You can also have some buffers or debuffers, but that is entirely up to you.

So, let's take a look at a few Realms of Pixel teams you can use in the early game, and then later on towards the end-game stages!

Team #1 - Early game team
- Moonshadow (Anastasia)
- Etch Witch (Maggie)
- Sword Sage (Ayano)
- Vanquisher (Oswald)
- Demon General (Rona)
- One more hero of your choice based on what your team needs
In the early game, you can use Moonshadow to destroy enemies. Vanquisher will tank, while Demon General can heal. It's a fairly easy team to play, since Vanquisher can be replaced with pretty much any other tank you have.
I recommend investing most of your resources into Moonshadow and Demon General, since they can both be used in the late stages of the game too. They are amazing for the early game and towards the mid-game.

Team #2 - Advent team
- Dragon Slayer (Sofia Bulga)
- Etch Witch (Maggie)
- Muteki Shin (Tomoe)
- Vanquisher (Oswald)
- Abyss Queen (Ximi)
- Lost Flower (Misty)
This is what you could call the Advent team. This Realms of Pixel team is mainly focused on unlocking the 5 +1 bonus (or even the 6 bonus, if you can get all the heroes). The Advent composition also works extremely well in the late game. Some other heroes you can use are Ember Maiden (Skogul), Darkflame (Kurikara), Life Sage (Yumi), Caged Bird (Elexia), Ice Oracle (Julia), or Immortal (Seraphina).
You should have Vanquisher in the front line, while the rest deal damage, with Abyss Queen being the main healer on this lineup. This team works extremely well for PvP and PvE well into the end game.

Team #3 - Ascension team
- Riptide Blade (Westley)
- Lance Lord (Delacour)
- Dark Oracle (Jimbo)
- Lunar Sprite (Violet)
- Scarlet Muse (Theresa)
- Shadow Queen (Ingrid)
If you want this team for PvP, you might want to swap in Illusory Fire (Moonshade), since she cannot be targeted by enemies, and she can deal a lot of burst damage, being an assassin. Demon Dragon (Kifera) is also good for PvP, while Demon General (Rona) can act as the healer.
The Ascension team is mainly focused on burst damage, but it can also survive extremely well. It belongs fully to the Ascension element, which, just like the Advent team listed above, will activate the 6 Ascension bonus.
