Real Football 2013, Asphalt 7, and 11 other Gameloft games will be optimised for the Galaxy S4

In March 2012, French games studio Gameloft teamed up with Korea-based manufacturer LG to optimise a dozen of its games for the latter's Optimus 3D Max smartphone.

Never one to look a gift horse in its gob, Gameloft is now collaborating with giant smartphone vendor Samsung. And by 'collaborating', we mean Gameloft is optimising 13 of its most popular games for the Samsung Galaxy S4.

Though not all of the 13 Gameloft titles the firm intends to smarten up for Sammy's flagship smartphone will be to everyone's taste, there are a few choice cuts among them.

Call of Duty-esque FPS Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour earned a Pocket Gamer Bronze Award on review, for instance, while glitzy arcade racer Asphalt 7: Heat accelerated away from our review pit lane with a Silver Award.

Here, then, is the full list of 13 Gameloft titles that will be optimised for the Galaxy S4. Gameloft will add more games to this list over the following weeks.

  • Wild Blood (Samsung Apps)
  • Dungeon Hunter 4 (Samsung Apps)

True, he could have woken up at 6am each day to play with friends online in the UK, but he was never a morning person. Instead, he preferred a succession of meaningless encounters with Japanese teenagers. Now, he is hooked.
