Ragnarok Origin launches its first anniversary celebration including a ton of events and new content

GRAVITY CO., Ltd. has announced that its fantasy MMORPG Ragnarok Origin is celebrating a year of service. This anniversary celebration will include plenty of events for players to take part in as well as a new map and even two brand-new classes!

Let’s go over the new classes first, as they’re likely the highlight of the event. The Sage and The Scholar jobs are both magic oriented but in interesting and different ways. The Sage is a magical adept, and their unique skills can force enemies to stop casting abilities. They can even leech magic and convert it into their own! Think of them as a counter-based magical class.

The Scholar, on the other hand, is somewhat like your traditional mage and acts as an evolved version of Sages. They can utilize just about every magical ability under the sun and are a multi-talented class useful for any situation.

As for the events on offer here, there is one outside-of-game event players can take part in where they can cover the theme song for Ragnarok Origin, The One, and upload it to the official contest page. 100 winners will be selected, and they will receive real-world Ragnarok Origin swag for their efforts.

Then, we’ve got the Fortune Teller event, which you can perform in-game or on the official website. This one will allow you to have your fortune told by an NPC, which will then allow you to receive a card that will reveal your soulmate, as well as a mystery present for use in-game.

And finally, we’ve got the new map. The magical floating cloud city of Juno will be completely open for you to explore and discover secrets within!
