Upcoming Vita RPG Ragnarok Odyssey Ace will have free DLC and a bonus soundtrack CD

Earlier this year, Ragnarok Odyssey charged onto the PlayStation Network to give the Vita a much-needed jolt of action RPG excitement.

Now, its second coming - Ragnarok Odyssey Ace - is ready to take the Vita by storm (again), and it's bringing a bunch of cool features along for the ride.

Although not expected until early 2014, Xseed confirmed that Ace will have a MSRP of $39.99 in the US and that it plans to "release additional game content free of charge following the game's launch in North America".

This means players can expect online features including daily quests, online rankings, log-in bonuses, and random card draws added after the game's launch - and all for the just right price of "free".

Xseed also confirmed that the Vita version of Ragnarok Odyssey Ace will ship with a bonus soundtrack CD containing 25 song from the game's OST.

Less of sequel and more of a reprisal, Ragnarok Odyssey Ace allows players of the Bronze Award-wining Ragnarok Odyssey to transfer their character's basic physical features such as name, face, and job class (but not clothing for some odd reason), as well as weapon and monster cards to the new title.

If you're into fighting enormous dragons and don't mind your heroes arriving without their clothes, this is definitely a Vita game to keep on your radar once the new year comes.
