Enormous dragons and giant knights leap off the screen in new trailer for Ragnarok Odyssey Ace on Vita

Game Arts and Xseed's Bronze Award-winning hack 'n' slash RPG Ragnarok Odyssey wasn't perfect. Its stat-lite action-focused adventuring was rather compelling, mind.

Which means we're all pretty excited about Ragnarok Odyssey Ace, a polished, preened, and extended version of the original game. It should be available in the West before the year is out. Before you ask.

This forthcoming new version of the game will include all of the DLC from the original, as well as new dungeons to whack and thwack your way through.

Enormous dragons, giant knights on undead horses, and even more enormous dragons seem to be the order of the day here.

The gorgeous animations that made the original version of the game so entertaining are all present and correct, too.

Ragnarok Odyssey Ace will be released in Japan at the end of August. We'll let you know as soon as we get word of the North American and European release dates for the game.
