Ragnarok M: Classic Global unveils worldwide release date for next month

If you're a longtime fan of hit MMORPG Ragnarok M, or just fancy having a go at this classic of the genre, then you're in luck because you won't need to wait long to get your hands on the remastered, free-to-play rerelease. Ragnarok M: Classic Global is now set for a September 2nd release!

While the original Ragnarok M was not fully free, Ragnarok M: Classic posits itself as a completely F2P take on the original. With an in-game economy balanced entirely around its currency earned through gameplay, it promises to be an entirely player-friendly experience.

Outside of that, those of you who've played before will recognise a suite of iconic jobs, maps and monsters making a return in Classic Global. There'll also be cross-platform play between mobile and PC to open Ragnarok M up to a whole new field of fans.

Free-for-all

With Ragnarok M: Classic Global right around the corner, I'm sure many of you are already chomping at the bit to get your hands on it. While Ragnarok M may have passed some of you by, the Ragnarok Online franchise on which it is based is iconic for many reasons, not least being one of the defining MMORPG releases in the Korean scene.

For those jumping in for the first time, Ragnarok M offers a spin-off experience that's now been revamped to be even more player-friendly. So, it could very well be worth keeping an eye out for when Ragnarok M hits storefronts on iOS and Android come September 2nd.
