Battle gigantic bosses in Ancient Rome for free in Rage of the Gladiator for Android
Fighting unfair
Back in November 2012, Monster Shooter developer Gamelion released a bloody third-person slasher called Rage of the Gladiator on iPhone and iPad.
Fast-forward to March of this year, and Gamelion released Rage of the Gladiator on Google Play, albeit in the form of a location-specific open beta.
As of yesterday, though, Rage of the Gladiator is available to download from Google Play worldwide. It's free, too, so you can't lose.
In this gory slash-'em-up, you assume the role of Gracius, a Maximus Decimus Meridius wannabe who's forced to fight for his life in one of Ancient Rome's famous outdoor arenas.
Unfortunately, you're not fighting other gladiators. You're not battling it out with tigers and other animals, either. You're actually competing against great big hulking bosses of all shapes and sizes.
At review, we called Rage of the Gladiator a "slick first-person hack-and-slasher that really benefits from some colourful and imaginative enemy design." We subsequently gave it a shiny Silver Award.
So, you should definitely check it out if you haven't already done so.
Put your purse away, dear. Click on the link down there on the right and you'll be transported off to Google Play, from where you can download Rage of the Gladiator completely free of charge.
