PUBG Mobile introduces new Transformers takeover event

PUBG Mobile is no stranger to crossovers, and neither are Hasbro's world-famous Transformers for that matter. So it's little surprise that alongside update 3.9 for PUBG Mobile we're also getting a major new crossover. Available until September 2nd, this long-term collab will see the arrival of new themed content, including none other than Optimus Prime and Megatron.
As you might expect, Optimus Prime and Megatron are introduced as new, playable summons which you can call in during a match with the Cybertron Beacon, or just call in Cybertron Crates with Supplies and Energon. Each boasts their own alt mode, abilities and can be upgraded with the acquisition of Energon.
It's not just appearances either as these two long-time rivals will also form an arena if they meet on the battlefield, letting players duke it out between the two. At the end of each match featuring them, you'll also get special rewards, while outside of individual matches, you can pledge your loyalty to Autobot or Decepticon and complete faction missions for further goodies.
Go big or go home
You'll want to stay tuned, because there's also even more Transformers-specific content coming July 18th, with more themed vehicles. Not to mention the Cosmic Hoverboard that's joining the lineup for you to play around with.And that's not even scraping the surface of what's being added in update 3.9. A new social hub for you to interact with other players, the Neon Outpost themed area, updates to Metro Royale, the brand-new Ranked Arena mode, and well, you'll just have to check it out for yourself to find out more, won't you?
