Shine on

- Pokémon TCG Pocket has revealed upcoming events and new EX starter decks
- There's also the beginning of ranked season A2b
- Take on other players with brand-new decks you can acquire by completing event missions
With the release of their most recent expansion, Shining Revelry, the folks over at Pokémon TCG Pocket have gone some way to regaining the initiative and generating even more excitement in fans. Now, they have also revealed a brand new suite of upcoming events you can expect in the coming month!
To start, we have a Pawmot Drop Event arriving in early April, followed by a new Wonder Pick Event in the middle of the month. Finally, in late April you can expect a fighting-type Pokémon Mass Outbreak Event to arrive. Oh, and for those interested in that sort of thing, the store has also been updated with new entries.
Meanwhile, if you've been frustrated by having an underperforming deck, maybe one of the current events will interest you. Because until the 26th of April, you'll be able to complete Event Missions in order to acquire one of nine decks, and an additional mission to acquire a special promo version of Cyclizar too!

Last, but by no means least, Ranked Match Season A2b is now underway and will run April 26th. By now you probably already know what this is, but I'll give a brief primer for those new here. Ranked is exactly what it sounds like, and you gain ranked points by winning in matches against opponents, climbing through 17 ranks as you go. In the Beginner 1-4 ranks you won't lose rank if you take a loss, and consecutive wins mean that you'll get even more rank points than usual.
