With Pikmin Bloom's Beach Resort event still underway until the 30th, I think it's safe to say things are heating up for Pikmin enthusiasts. But if you're feeling that heat a little too much, maybe it's time to cool off? And Pikmin Bloom has just the thing to help with the debut of the new Shaved Ice decor Pikmin!
These Pikmin debut alongside the return of Ice Cream: 2024 Flavor and Summer Sticker Decor Pikmin, starting August 1st and running until the 30th. Looking as if they've just taken a dive into a dish of shaved ice, it's the perfect accompaniment to the existing suite of summer-themed Pikmin.
Admittedly, those of you reading outside of East Asia or otherwise might not know what shaved ice even is. But this sweet treat, which consists of shaved ice and sweet syrup, is a bona fide summer classic in some parts of the world, especially Japan.
Sweet as syrup
Keep an eye out for event challenge missions that'll offer random rewards. Everything from Fruit Syrup Bottles, which function as seedlings that grow into Shaved Ice Decor Pikmin, to flower petals and other items. In addition, a Big Flower located at the centre of the stage will periodically bloom and offer a Gold Seedling on top of other rewards.Missions for these new delicious Pikmin (warning: don't eat Pikmin) will kick off when the event starts. So if you need to cool off and beat the heat, it's time to take a break from the beach and check in.
