With its 3.5th anniversary around the corner, Pikmin Bloom is set to celebrate in style. Although it's going to be a slightly outdated one, as your Pikmin are going to take on fashion derived from Nintendo's gaming hardware of the '80s and '90s, as you reconnect with the classics.
Yes, for the 3.5th anniversary, a variety of new decor Pikmin are being made available. Coming May 1st, you'll be able to complete event missions to acquire the Nintendo Game Consoles ’80-’95 Decor Pikmin. But it's not just Nintendo's more well-known products that are being celebrated.
You'll also be able to acquire Playing Card (Clubs Suit) Decor Pikmin. The particular Pikmin bear cards are themed after the original decks that Nintendo once created in their initial incarnation as a physical toy manufacturer.
However, I've no doubt that the majority of you will be most excited by the new Nintendo hardware looks than something a bit more classic. And it's certainly fitting given that Pikmin originated on the GameCube, even if it's certainly ironic that it wouldn't be covered by this latest set of decor Pikmin.
Still, you'll want to dive in from May 1st to the 31st, because by completing event missions, you'll be able to acquire Game Button Cells, which can then grow into the aforementioned decor Pikmin.
