Picross-e coming to 3DS eShop next week

Thanks to a listing on Nintendo's eShop website, we know that Picross-e will be emerging in the 3DS eShop on September 6th, courtesy of the Picross veterans at Jupiter.

For those of you who've been living under a rock these past few years, Picross has you using number-based logic to solve puzzles. It's a bit like Sudoku, but you get a lovely little picture for your efforts.

Picross-e will shed the 3D trappings of previous outing Picross 3D for the traditional (and, might we say, horrendously addictive) Picross gameplay seen in past DS Picross titles.

This new 3DS version will display a fully 3D version of the puzzle when completed so you can gawp at your immaculately crafted carrot or birthday cake in a whole extra dimension.

Picross-e will arrive on the eShop for £4.50 but there will be 150 puzzles included so you should get plenty of bang for your buck. We'll shout when it arrives.
