Capcom is exploring 'all kinds of interesting ideas' for the next Ace Attorney game

With Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies going on sale a few months ago, Capcom is now working on the next instalment in the series.

Speaking to 4Gamer, game director Takeshi Yamazaki admitted that it's a relief to have Dual Destinies behind him so the team can move forward.

"Today, we're working at full force on the next title," Yamazaki said. "We've only just begun, but we're currently thinking about all kinds of interesting ideas, so please look forward to it!"

Dual reveal

Yamazaki also revealed that the original creator of the Ace Attorney series, Shu Takumi, is working on another game. It's not necessarily a new game in the Ace Attorney series, though.

"This year, I've poured all my energy in the preparation, writing, and production of a brand new project," Takumi confirmed.

Takumi's new project will be formally announced later in 2014.
