Developer IV Motion has teamed up with Penny Skateboards to create a new side-scrolling action title called Penny Time, which you'll be able to download for your iPhone and iPad from Thursday May 10th.

In Penny Time, you ride an original plastic skateboard as you hunt for points, multipliers, secrets, and opportunities to pull off sick tricks.

Luckily, your Penny board has the ability to freeze time, giving you an extra chance to ollie, hippy jump, and powerslide your way around obstacles and hazards.

Each of the game's levels, which are set in a post-retro game world, features two unique game modes that are designed to "immerse and challenge both casual and experienced players alike".

Penny Time will be released on May 10th for 69p / 99c. Check out the video below, and if you like what you see, mark that date on your calendar.
