Payday Crime War, the 4v4 shooter based on the hit franchise, has soft launched in Australia

PopReach Corporation has just announced the soft launch of their highly anticipated mobile action game based on the popular video game series, Payday Crime War. The game has been officially licensed from Starbreeze Studios AB and is currently available in the Australian market. It takes players back into the world of notorious gangsters, where players will pull off the most insane heists with their friends.

Payday has been one of the most sought-after franchises in the co-op shooting genre. The first ever Payday launched in 2011, followed by the sequel in 2013, which sold nearly 40 million copies and still retains the largest game community on steam. Starbreeze will also be launching the third addition sometime this year.

Payday Crime War is set within the Payday universe itself and will let players engage in fast-paced 4v4 PvP battles as they partake in unbelievable heists. Fans of the franchise can go down memory lane too, as the Crime Database will feature jobs that are inspired by classic thefts from Payday: The Heist and Payday 2, albeit, with a twist.

There is no one way to complete a heist. Players can choose to sneakily complete it or go all guns blazing. The only requirement is that whatever is done must be planned and executed with perfection. The jobs will keep changing, adding another level of difficulty and ensuring gameplay always feels fresh.

A skill tree will allow upgrading to make the job easier and players can also select their loadout based on the play style. Additional rewards include heisters from the original games, weapons, masks, and outfits. Visit the official website to learn more.

Payday Crime War is free-to-play and will be monetized via in-game ads and in-app purchases. The game promises countless hours of entertainment thanks to the access to the entire Payday 2 universe which has sold over 105 million copies in just DLCs.
