Payday Crime War has opened pre-registration on Google Play

PopReach Corporation has just announced pre-registration for the highly anticipated mobile action game, Payday Crime War. The game is set in the same universe as the superhit co-op shooting series and gives Android and iOS users the opportunity to join the fray. Currently, pre-registrations are up on Google Play, with an App Store page somewhere in the pipeline.

It’s hard to find gamers who haven’t heard about Payday, given that they dominate this genre. The franchise has been around for over a decade now since the first game was released in 2011. A sequel followed in 2013 and it still remains the largest game community on Steam with over 40 million copies sold. Just the DLCs account for more than a whopping 105 million downloads.

Payday has always been around pulling on absolutely insane heists which shouldn’t even be possible. It’s like Oceans 11 on steroids. Crime War too allows players to participate in similar missions, in a fast-paced 4v4 PvP environment. Returning fans have something to look forward to as well because a few robberies have been heavily inspired by those seen in The Heist and Payday 2.

The coolest part about doing any heist is the number of ways in which it can be completed. Whether it's going in all guns blazing or stealthily taking out opponents, the only goal is to execute the task to perfection. Even the same heists will feel different as the jobs keep revolving. To help out, players can learn different skills and choose specific loadouts based on their play style.

Currently, you can pre-register for Payday Crime on Google Play. Unfortunately, iOS users will have to wait for a while. And those in Australia, the Philippines, and Canada can also join the early access test. The game will be free-to-play with ads and in-app purchases.
