Gameloft signs A-Lister for her first (ahem, official) appearance on mobile

Forget Tower Bloxx. Delete Skipping Stone. And never click on that Tetris icon again. Gameloft has reportedly signed the mobile game deal to end all mobile game deals.

If we can stretch a metaphor, it has jumped out of the huge furry monkey-shaped frying pan, and into the tiny furry Chihuahua-shaped fire. Something like that, anyway.

Yes, following the success of King Kong, Gameloft has now signed the rights to do the first ever Paris Hilton mobile game. The firm says the game will be "geared to teens/tweens and fans of Paris Hilton".

Whether that includes fans of her home movies, we don't know, but it's a damn shame Gameloft has already used Midnight Poker for a title.

There's been no details released yet on the gameplay, or indeed on whether the game will feature La Hilton's latest weird pet, Baby Luv the kinkajou (like a handbag-sized monkey crossed with a ferret basically).

Either way, Gameloft's involvement should at least ensure a high-quality product when it arrives later this year. Click 'Track Her!' – er, we mean 'Track It!' – above to be alerted by email when we know more.

(Also note: Pocket Gamer is an equal opportunities media outlet. Bring us the game of George Clooney, and we'll get our hands on him too!)
