Parachute Panic Lite updated to include online iPhone functions
Floating on a lite breeze
FDG Entertainment's casual iPhone hit, Parachute Panic, went lite a little while back, giving players a taste of free-falling fun (quite literally).
Well, the developer just dropped us a line to say that the free Parachute Panic Lite has just received an update (not something we hear too often) and now includes the same online functions as the full version.
This means freebie players will now be able to send in their high scores, while making use of the buddy lists with direct friend invitations from their contacts, email or using Facebook Connect.
The game involves helping the stick figures find their way safely onto the decks of passing ships after jumping out of a plane. Some need you to deploy their parachutes at just the right moment, while other need you to blow the wind in just the right direction to keep them away from sharks, helicopter blades, UFOs and storm clouds.
In addition to the standard gameplay, Parachute Panic Lite now includes the fish collecting bonuses, so float on over to the App Store to get yourself a hot Friday freebie.
